Sunday was a truly special day.
A day filled with people, smiles, and hope. The 12th edition of XeSkouriazo came to a close with outstanding success!

A total of 428 athletes took part — 175 in the 5 km race, 150 in the 15 km race, and 103 in the 25 km race — coming from all over Greece as well as from abroad, with participants from France, Germany, Lithuania, Russia, Serbia, and Cyprus.

After many years, records were broken one after another:
a record number of participants, a new course record in the 25 km race (men), and new course records in the 15 km race (men & women)!

Runners had the opportunity to run through the unique network of trails of Mount Kakavos, to enjoy the mountain’s natural beauty, and at the same time to witness the destruction that continues to threaten us.

Because XeSkouriazo is not just a sporting event — it is a race for forests, water, and life.
